Reaction Steps
General procedure A was applied to 2,6-dimethylquinoline (157 mg, 1.00mmol). Purification by flash-column chromatography on neutral alumina with gradient elution of MeOH/DCM from 0.5 -5% over 25 column volumes, affording 2,6-dimethyl-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-[1,3,2]-dioxaborolan-2-yl)quinoline as a white solid (203 mg, 72%); m.p.96 -97 °C;
