Procedure
(R)-(+)-N-[3-(imidazol-4-yl)propyl]-N'-[2-[(5-methylimidazol-4-yl)methylthio]-1-propyl]-guanidine ##STR95## prepared by a method analogous to that of Example 39 from 0.63 g (1.7 mmol) of the previously prepared cyanoguanidine. 0.85 g of a hygroscopic foam composed of equimolar quantities of ammonium chloride and (R)-(+)-N-[3-(imidazol-4-yl)propyl]-N'-[2-[(5-methylimidazol-4-yl) methylthio]-1-propyl]guanidine trihydrochloride is obtained as residue.
