Procedure
With stirring, a solution of 24.0 g of 2,6-diethyl-4-(N-phenyl-N-formylamino)aniline in 80 ml of dichloromethane are added dropwise at 0° to 10° C. to 13.4 g of thiophosgene, 100 ml of dichloromethane, 60 ml of water and 19 g of calcium carbonate. The reaction mixture is stirred for 2 hours at room temperature and then filtered. The organic phase is separated, washed with 50 ml of water, dried over sodium sulfate and then concentrated by evaporation. The title compound of formula ##STR15## is obtained in the form of a crystalline powder which melts at 77°-78° C.
