To a solution of 6-Bromo-4-(4-chloro-phenyl)-3-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1H-quinazolin-2-one (0.2 g, 0.57 mmol) dissolved in dioxane (50 mL) is added 3,5-dimethylisoxazole-4-boronic acid (0.1 g, 0.74 mmol), PdCl2 (0.048 g, 0.057 mmol) and Na2CO3 aq. The mixture is stirred at 120° C. to reflux for 5 hours. Then cooled to RT, concentrated and purified by column chromatography on silica gel to give the desired compound.
