To a solution of 1-({5-chloro-1-[(3R)-(pyrrolidin-3-yl)]-1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl}methyl)-3-(methylsulfonyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-c]pyridine (300 mg, 0.70 mmol) in 5 mL of DMF was added 2-bromoethanol (173 mg, 2.1 mmol) and Cs2CO3 (682 mg, 2.1 mmol). The mixture was heated to 70° C. and stirred overnight. The mixture was filtered and then purified by preparative-HPLC to give the title compound.
