To a solution of 4-({5-[(4R)-4-ethyl-4-methyl-2,5-dioxo-1-imidazolidinyl]-2-pyridinyl}oxy)-2-(1-methylethenyl)benzonitrile (Intermediate 207, 98 mg) in MeOH (10 mL) Pd 10% w/w on activate carbon (10 mg) was added and the reaction mixture was stirred for 1 hour under H2 atmosphere (P=1 atm). The catalyst was filtered off and the solvent removed under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel (SNAP 10 g) eluting from 75:25 to 40:60 cyclohexane/ethyl acetate affording the title compound (80 mg) as white solid.
