Pyrrolidine (1 mL) was added to methyl 2-(2-ethoxy-2-oxoethyl)-6-({[2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]carbonyl}amino)-1H-benzimidazole-4-carboxylate (80 mg), and the solution was stirred at 70° C. for 30 minutes. The reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate, and washed with brine. The ethyl acetate layer was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified on column chromatography to obtain the titled compound (74 mg) as white powder.
