To a solution of ethyl 2-(2-(N,N-dimethylsulfamoyl)phenoxy)acetate (100 mg, 0.35 mmol) in EtOH (1 mL) was added 1-amino-3-(isoindolin-2-yl)propan-2-ol (66.8 mg, 0.35 mmol). The reaction mixture was heated under microwave conditions at 120° C. for 0.5 h. The material was concentrated and purified by preparative HPLC purification. (20 mg, yield 13%) MS (ESI+) e/z: 434.1 [M+1]+. 1H NMR (MeOD, 400 MHz), δ ppm: 7.85 (dd, J=7.78, 1.51 Hz, 1H), 7.70-7.61 (m, 1H), 7.27-7.16 (m, 6H), 4.75 (s, 2H), 4.05-3.91 (m, 5H), 3.55 (dd, J=13.68, 4.89 Hz, 1H), 3.40-3.35 (m, 1H), 2.92-2.77 (m, 8H).
