Reaction Steps

To (4S,5R)-5-[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-3-{[3-bromo-6-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)pyridin-2-yl]methyl}-4-methyl-1,3-oxazolidin-2-one (100 mg, 0.182 mmol) in THF (0.91 mL) was added methyl 4′-methoxy-2-methyl-3′-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)biphenyl-4-carboxylate (84 mg, 0.218 mmol), 1,1′-bis(di-tert-butylphosphino)ferrocene palladium dichloride (17.8 mg, 0.027 mmol), and potassium carbonate (2 M in water, 0.273 mL, 0.546 mmol). The system was flushed with nitrogen, capped, and stirred at room temperature overnight. The reaction was diluted with ethyl acetate and the organic was washed with water (2×), brine, dried (Na2SO4), filtered, and concentrated. The crude material was purified by column chromatography to yield methyl 3′-[2-({(4S,5R)-5-[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4-methyl-2-oxo-1,3-oxazolidin-3-yl}methyl)-6-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-4′-methoxy-2-methylbiphenyl-4-carboxylate (91.4 mg, 0.126 mmol). LCMS calc.=725.2. found=725.3.
