Following General Procedure F, 2,4-dichloro-6,7-dihydro-5H-cyclopenta[b]pyridine (0.300 g, 1.60 mmol) was reacted with (2,5-dichlorophenyl)boronic acid (0.396 g, 2.07 mmol), followed by the formation of the hydrochloride salt to afford the title compound (0.285 g, 95% yield) as a white solid. MW=335.06. 1H NMR (CDCl3, 300 MHz) δ 13.09 (s, 1H), 7.56 (d, J=2.4 Hz, 1H), 7.45-7.37 (m, 2H), 7.33-7.29 (m, 1H), 3.16 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 2H), 3.06 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 2H), 2.21 (quin, J=7.6 Hz, 2H); APCI MS m/z 297 [M+H]+.
