Following General Procedure F, 2,4-dichloro-6,7-dihydro-5H-cyclopenta[b]pyridine (0.300 g, 1.60 mmol) was reacted with (3,5-dichlorophenyl)boronic acid (0.396 g, 2.07 mmol), followed by the formation of the hydrochloride salt to afford the title compound (0.310 g, 100%) as a white solid. MW=335.06. 1H NMR (CD3OD, 300 MHz) δ 14.06 (s, 1H), 8.02-7.93 (m, 2H), 7.71 (s, 1H), 7.50 (t, J=1.8 Hz, 1H), 3.17-3.01 (m, 4H), 2.27-2.17 (m, 2H); APCI MS m/z 297 [M+H]+.
