Reaction Steps

To compound 55A (138 mg, 0.230 mmol) in THF (3 ml) and MeOH (3 ml) was treated with 10% sodium hydroxide (0.46 ml, 1.152 mmol) for 1 day. The reaction mixture was concentrated and acidified by conc. HCl. The precipitate was collected by filtration and dried to provide the title compound: 1H NMR (500 MHz, DMSO-D6) δ ppm 12.89 (2H, s), 8.03 (1H, d), 7.80 (1H, d), 7.67 (1H, d), 7.42-7.51 (2H, m), 7.33-7.42 (2H, m), 7.25-7.31 (4H, m), 7.17-7.21 (1H, m), 4.82 (2H, s), 4.46 (2H, s), 3.74 (2H, t), 3.60 (2H, t), 3.28-3.35 (2H, m), 3.03 (2H, t); LCMS (APCI) m/e 571.
