A solution of 1-(1-Methylpyrrolidin-3-yl)-4-nitro-1H-pyrazole (3.0 g, 18 mmol, 1 eq.) in methanol (40 mL) was hydrogenated (3 bars) in presence of Ra—Ni (1 g) at RT. After 3 h, the catalyst was filtered off and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound as brown liquid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 7.06 (s, 1H), 6.85 (m, 1H), 4.67 (m, 1H), 3.82 (brs, 2H) 2.63-2.74 (m, 2H), 2.58-2.61 (m, 1H), 2.38-2.44 (m, 1H), 2.21-2.28 (m, 1H), 2.27 (s, 3H), 1.89-1.97 (m, 1H).
