Procedure

To a solution of Example 220E (6.5 g, 12.73 mmol) in 1,4-dioxane (50 mL) was added a solution of sodium hydroxide (1.528 g, 38.2 mmol) in water (5 mL) and the mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 12 hours. The mixture was concentrated and the residue was suspended in water and N,N-dimethylformamide. The mixture was filtered and the solid was washed with ethyl acetate to give the title compound. MS (CI) m/z 356 (M+H)+.
