Reaction Steps
To a solution of Example 262C (˜3.93 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran (28 mL) and methanol (20 mL) was added 1M aqueous sodium hydroxide (23.61 mL, 23.61 mmol) and the mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 3 hours. The mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate and the organic layer was washed with brine, dried over sodium sulfate, filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel, eluting with a gradient of 6-15% methanol in dichloromethane to give the title compound. LC-MS: 450 (M+H)+.
