Reaction Steps

To a solution of the material from Step 3 (476 mg, 0.706 mmol) in dichloromethane (3 mL) at 0° C. were added anisole (0.232 mL, 2.119 mmol) and TFA (0.653 mL, 8.48 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours, poured into saturated aqueous NaHCO3, and extracted with dichloromethane (2×15 mL). The combined organic layers were dried over MgSO4 and concentrated under vacuum to afford 370 mg of the title compound a colorless foam. LCMS (M+1)=474.
