The product from Example 114 Part A (1.2 g of 83% pure, 0.28 mmol) was dissolved in CHCl3 (20 mL) and NBS (0.93 g, 0.41 mmol) was added. The mixture was stirred at RT under N2 for 1.5 h. It was diluted with CHCl3 and washed with water and brine. It was then dried over MgSO4 and concentrated to a white solid (0.79 g). MS: 424.4/426.2 (M+1)+.
