Procedure
To a solution of 1-{4-[1-(propan-2-yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-yl]-9-oxa-3,6-diazatricyclo[8.4.0.02,6]tetradeca1(14),2,4,10,12-pentaen-13-yl}ethan-1-ol (200 mg, 0.590 mmol) in DCM (20 mL) at 0° C. was added TEA (296 mg, 2.93 mmol) and MsCl (136 mg, 1.19 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred 0° C. for 2 h and then allowed to warm to room temperature. The reaction was quenched with sat. NaHCO3 (10 mL) and the resultant mixture was further washed with brine (20 mL). The organic phase was then dried and concentrated to afford the crude product (246 mg, 100% yield) as a brown solid, which was directly used in next step without further purification.
