A solution of the product from Example 15 (0.6 g, 1.4 mmol) in methanol (100 mL) was shaken over 20% Pd/C under hydrogen and pressure for 2.3 hours. The catalyst was filtered off and concentrated under vacuum to give the title compound (0.53 g, 95% yield) as a dark red-brown solid, mp=130-135° C.
