The title compound was prepared from 3-methyl-6-(2-n-propoxyphenyl)-1-n-propyl-1,5-dihydro-4H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-one (Example 21; 0.5 g, 0.0017 mol) and chlorosulphonic acid (3 ml), by the same procedure as Preparation 3, and was obtained as a white powder (0.587 g, 90%), m.p. 148-150° C. Found: C, 50.88; H, 4.67; N, 13.30. C18H21ClN4O4S requires C, 50.88; H, 4.98; N, 13.19%.
