The title compound was prepared as described in General Method 2 using 1-bromo-3-phenylpropane (0.044 mmol), potassium thiotosylate (0.044 mmol) and absolute ethanol (125 mL) to give an oil which was used without purification. 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 1.95 (quint., 2 H), 2.459 (s, 3 H), 2.63 (t, 2 H), 2.95 (t, 2 H), 7.0-7.4 (m, 8 H), 7.7 (d, 2 H).
