Procedure
5-Phenyltetrazole (5 pbw) and 4-(4,6-bis-trichloromethyl-s-triazin-2-yl)benzoyl chloride (15.5 pbw) are dissolved in 125 pbv of pyridine and slowly heated to reflux. At about 80° C. nitrogen evolution commences, which comes to an end after about 1 hour. After cooling, the mixture is poured into 500 pbv of ice water, the precipitate that deposits is removed by filtration and is, after drying, recrystallized from 2-methoxy-ethanol.
