Reaction Steps

600 mg of the amorphous compound obtained in Example 138 was dissolved in 6 ml of methanol and 3 ml of tetrahydrofuran, to the solution was added 6 ml of 1N sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, and the mixture was stirred at a room temperature for 2 hours. The reaction mixture was diluted with water and extracted twice with 50 ml of chloroform, and the extract was washed with saturated sodium chloride aqueous solution, dried over magnesium sulfate and evaporated to remove the solvent under a reduced pressure. Resulting oil was applied to a silica gel column and eluted with chloroform/methanol (100:1 to 50:1) to obtain 403 mg of the title compound in a colorless amorphous form.
