Reaction Steps
A mixture of 3.8 g of 4-(chloroacetyl)-4,5-dihydro-7-phenylpyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-3-carbonitrile, 2.9 g of 3-methoxybenzyl piperazine and 1.6 g of sodium carbonate in 165 ml of toluene was reacted as described in Example 146. The product was recrystallized from isopropanol, giving 1.5 g of the desired product, mp 98°-100° C.
