Reaction Steps
A mixture of 1-(4-methoxy-2-morpholinophenyl)thiourea (3.8 g). suspended in water (26 ml), lead acetate trihydrate (5.7 g) in water (26 ml) and potassium hydroxide (8.4 g) in water (24 g) was heated at 90°-95° C. for 30 minutes to give N-(4-methoxy-2-morpholinophenyl)cyanamide.
