This mercaptopeptidyl ester was prepared substantially similarly as HS-Leu-Leu-Gly-OC2H5, above, except that an equivalent amount of L-phenylalanylglycine ethyl ester hydrochloride was used in the coupling reaction instead of L-leucylglycine ethyl ester hydrochloride.
