The process of Example 13 is followed except that the 2,3-dichloro-6-nitroquinoxaline is replaced by 1.5 g of 2,3,6-trichloro-7-nitroquinoxaline and 1.4 g of the di(potassiomercapto)methylenemalononitrile is used. The recovered material is a rust colored powder weighing 1.23 g with a calculated overall yield of 66 percent and has a melting point of 297° to 299° C.
