Treatment of the product of part (iii) (1.15 g) with 1H-1,2,4-triazole sodium salt (0.80 g) in N,N-dimethylformamide (15 ml) according to the method of Example 1(ii), followed by chromatography of the crude product on silica gel using dichloromethane/methanol (50:1) as eluant, first gave, after combination and evaporation of appropriate fractions, the title compound, diastereoisomeric pair A, (0.35 g), m.p. 134°-135° (from ether).
