A solution of (1R)-1-(2,2-dimethyl4H-1,3-benzodioxin-6-yl)-2-({6-[4(1,1-dioxido-3,4-dihydro-2H-thiochromen-7-yl)butoxy]hexyl}amino)ethanol (134 mg) in glacial acetic acid (10 ml) and water (5 ml) was heated at 80° C. for 40 min. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the residue purified by mass directed autoprep to give the title compound (79 mg). LCMS RT=2.46 min, ES+ve 520 (MH)+.
