Reaction Steps

A solution of 1f (80 mg, 0.193 mmol) in ethanol/water (1:1, 10 mL) was mixed with KOH (21.6 mg, 0.39 mmol). The resultant mixture was heated at 60° C. for 1 h, diluted with HCl (30 mL, 1N), and extracted with ethyl acetate (30 mL, 3×). The combined organic phases were dried over MgSO4, filtered, and concentrated to afford the title compound (62 mg, 84%) as a white solid: MS (ES) m/z 388 (M+H)+.
