Reaction Steps
By essentially following the procedure described below in Example 25, Part B, the title compound was prepared as a foam starting from 6-benzyloxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)benzo[b]thiophene-3-yl 4-[2-(1-pyrrolidinyl)ethoxy]phenyl ketone (Part C) in 52% yield following MPLC (SiO2; 0.5% in CHCl3 sat'd with NH4OH).
