Reaction Steps
According to the procedures described for 3a the reaction of bis-THP ether 2b (240 mg, 0.42 mmol) and pyridinium p-toluenesulfonate (100 mg, 0.40 mmol) afforded 153.1 mg (90%) of the title compound after purification by flash column chromatography (silica gel, 1:1 hexane/EtOAc).
