Following general procedure J and using [4-(5-(cyclopropyl-methyl-amino)-8,8-dimethyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-naphthalene-2-ylethynyl)-2-fluoro-phenyl]-acetic acid ethyl ester (Compound 17, 0.025 g, 0.059 mmol), methanol (1 mL), tetrahydroftiran (1 mL), water (0.5 mL) and lithium hydroxide monohydrate (0.060 g, 1.43 mmol), the title compound was obtained as a white solid (0.023 g, 95%).
