Procedure
In 10 ml of methanol was dissolved 1.01 g of 2-[4,5-dihydropyridazin-3(2H)-on-6-yl]-6-methoxycarbonylamino-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrobenzo[b]thiophene, and 560 mg of potassium hydroxide dissolved in 5 ml of water was added thereto. The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours. Methanol was removed from the reaction mixture, the residue was extracted with ethyl acetate and dried, and the the solvent was removed to obtain 0.5 g of 2-[4,5-dihydropyridazin-3(2H)-on-6-yl]-6-amino-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrobenzo-[b]thiophene as crystals.
