Procedure

Methyl iodide (1 ml, 15 mmol) was added to a solution of 3-(1,2,5-oxadiazol-3-yl)pyridine (430 mg, 2.9 mmol) in acetone (20 ml). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 18 h. The productprecipitated from the solution and the title compound was collected by filtration in 82% (700 mg) yield.
