In 20 ml of dichloromethane was dissolved 438 mg of 2-[4-(4-benzylbenzyl)-3,5-dichlorophenyl]-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazine-3(2H)-one followed by addition of 1.0 g of pyridinium chlorochromate, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 12 hours. After completion of the reaction, the reaction mixture was filtered to remove the insoluble substance. The filtrate was concentrated and purified by silica gel chromatography (ethyl acetate/hexane=2/1) to provide 230 mg of the title compound as colorless crystals.
