Reaction of N-methyl-N'-[2-(3-isoxazolylmethylthio)ethyl]thiourea with lead cyanamide by the procedure of Example 121 gives N-cyano-N'-methyl-N"-[2-(2-(3-isoxazolylmethylthio)ethyl]guanidine.
