Procedure
6-Chloro-5-(N-acetyl-N-cyclopropylamino)-1-methyl-1H-indazole-4,7 -dione (2 grams prepared as in Example III) and cyclopropylamine (2 grams) in ethanol (25 milliliters) were heated together under reflux for 10 minutes. The solvent was then removed under reduced pressure and the residual red oil purified by chromatography on alumina using methylene chloride as eluant to yield the desired product having a melting point of 75°-78° C.
