Boron tribromide (2.5 ml, 1.0 M in DCM) was added to a solution of the product from step b) (1.16 g) in DCM (15 ml) at 0° C. The solution was stirred for 15 min then quenched with water. The mixture was extracted with DCM (three times), the organic extracts were dried (MgSO4), evaporated and purified by chromatography (silica, petrol-ether as eluent) to give the sub-title compound (851 mg).
