Reaction Steps
1.5 g of the compound prepared in step B are refluxed in DCM for 24 hours in the presence of 900 mg of DBU. The mixture is chromatographed on a silica column using a DCM/AcOEt mixture (95/5, v/v) as the eluent. 190 mg of the expected product are obtained after recrystallization from isopropyl ether.
