A solution of 2'-deoxy-4'-cyano-5'-O-acetyl uridine (24 mg, 0.08 mM) and acetic anhydride (20μl) in pyridine (0.2 ml) was stirred at room temperature for 5 h. The solvent was removed by evaporation and the residue was chromatographed on silica gel eluting with 5% CH3OH/CH2Cl2 to give 2'-deoxy-4'-cyano-3'O,5'O-diacetyl uridine (23 mg, 0.07 mM). Accurate Mass Calcd. for C14H15N3O7 : 337.0910. Found: 337.0911
