Procedure
8.8 g of N-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-N'-sec.-butylthiourea are dissolved in 50 ml of acetone, and 3.78 g of chloroformic acid methyl ester are added thereto while stirring. The reaction mixture is stirred for a further 3 hours and then left to stand at room temperature for 10 hours. The product which crystallises out is filtered off-with suction and dried. The title compound of the formula ##STR6## is obtained in the form of colourless crystals; m.p. 136°-138° C. with decomposition.
