Procedure
An ethereal diazomethane solution is added to a solution of 5 mg of 5-[2-[(1E,3E)-(5RS)-5-hydroxy-1,3-tridecadienyl]-phenyl]-pentanoic acid (produced in example 9) in 0.5 ml of methylene chloride at 0° C. until permanent yellow dyeing and stirred for 5 minutes at 0° C. Then, it is concentrated by evaporation in a vacuum and the residue is chromatographed on silica gel. With hexane/0-80% of ether, 2.6 mg of the title compound is obtained as a colorless oil.
