1,2,3-triazole (3.4 ml, 58.6 mmol) was added to the N-(4-(2-tosyloxyethyl)phenyl)-4-benzyloxycarbonylaminopiperidine (3.0 g, 5.90 mmol) obtained in Example 7(5), followed by stirring at 90° C. for 2 hours. Methanol was added to the reaction mixture. The mixture was refluxed under heat for 1 hour, and then allowed to cool to room temperature. The precipitate was collected by filtration, thereby obtaining N-(4-(2-(1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)-ethyl)-phenyl)-4-benzyloxycarbonylaminopiperidine (1.3 g, 54%) as a white solid.
