Reaction Steps
3-Bromo-N-[6-(1H-indol-4-yl)-1H-indazol-4-yl]-2-pyridinecarboxamide (0.25 g, 0.58 mmol) and isopropenylboronic acid pincaol ester (available from Aldrich, 0.12 ml, 0.64 mmol) were placed in a microwave vial and dissolved in 1,4-dioxane (4 ml). Pd(PPh3)4 (66 mg, 0.06 mmol) and Na2CO3 (0.58 ml, 1.16 mmol, 2 M aqueous solution) were added and the mixture was heated at 150° C. for 10 mins under microwave irradiation. The reaction mixture was filtered through Celite, washing with ethyl acetate. The organic mixture was washed with water (10 ml) and brine (10 ml), dried over MgSO4, filtered and the solvent was removed in vacuo. The resulting orange solid was purified by mass-directed automated preparative HPLC (Method B) to give the title compound as a white solid.
