The title compound was prepared from dimethyl 2-bromoterephthalate (2.4 g, 8.8 mmol) and benzylurea (1.7 g, 11.4 mmol) following the procedure outlined in Example 14, step 1 (1.8 g, 66%). LC-MS: (FA) ES+ 311.
