Thionyl chloride (0.224 mL) was added to a solution of the product from step (v) (0.85 g) in DCM (15 mL) under nitrogen. The resulting mixture was stirred at rt for 2 h. The reaction mixture was evaporated to dryness under reduced pressure to give the subtitle compound as a yellow solid 0.85 g that was used without purification.
