Reaction Steps
In analogy to example 161, step 1, 5-[(E)-3-(4-chloro-2-methyl-phenyl)-acryloyl]-1H-pyridin-2-one was reacted with iodomethane in the presence of potassium carbonate to give the title compound as a light yellow solid, MS (ESI+): m/z=288.0 [M+H]+.
