To a solution of (5Z)-5-({1-[2,4-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzyl]piperidin-4-yl}methylidene)-4-(3-hydroxypyrrolidin-1-yl)-1,3-thiazol-2(5H)-one (67.3 mg) in ethanol (2 mL) was added fumaric acid (15.4 mg). The reaction mixture was stirred at 80° C. for 1 hr, the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the residue was recrystallized from ethanol/ethyl acetate to give the title compound (35 mg).
