To a solution of (5Z)-5-({1-[2,4-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzyl]pyrrolidin-3-yl}methylidene)-4-(prop-2-yn-1-ylamino)-1,3-thiazol-2(5H)-one (740 mg) in ethanol (10 mL) was added maleic acid (186 mg). The reaction mixture was stirred at 80° C. for 20 min, the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the residue was recrystallized from ethanol/heptane to give the title compound (800 mg).
